Classic Fashion

Beginning in the 1970s, Farber established himself as a leading fashion photographer, working with many of the era’s most celebrated supermodels and creating imagery for Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Viva Magazine, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue,

and other major fashion clients.

His client list included Geoffrey Beene, Bill Blass, Revlon, Pond’s, Caress, Monet Jewelry, ABC, 20th Century Fox, Wrangler Jeans, and Paco Rabanne.

​

He also published two influential books from that period, Professional Fashion Photography (1978, revised 1983) and The Fashion Photographer (1980, revised 1984).
